Conquering the Leaky Toilet
Just wanted to mention that, thanks to Kurt, I was able to fix the leaking valve to our toilet. It was a small victory amongst a trail of things to deal with since we've been back.
E.B. White wrote, "Just to live in the country is a full-time job. You don't have to do anything. The idle pursuit of making a living is pushed to one side, where it belongs, in favor of living itself, a task of such immediacy, variety, beauty, and excitement that one is powerless to resist its wild embrace."
I feel this way on a daily basis, thought you might relate...
I grew up a "city-boy" on the west coast, surfing the beaches of California, but have since shelved my board in order to live the good life with my family in Vermont.
